Run in partnership with Neighborhood Urban Family Center (NUFC), CAN-DO Kids Club is a K-6 daily after-school program serving the children of Jefferon & Longfellow elementary schools. The cost is free, but families must earn parent participation points. CAN-DO Kids Club began in 1994, & has served hundreds of children in the Pasadena area with high quality after-school enrichment & academic programs. CAN-DO Kids Club is under the direction of Jennifer Wiebe, M.A., and experienced, credentialed teacher.
Our distinctives are a low-staff student ratio, a focus on literacy development, enrichment classes, music instructions, & moral training. We see significant academic improvement in our students, as we work in concert with our local school. Long-term relationships are at the heart of our mission, as we desire to see our children become all that they were created to be. |
